This was the era of the Elves. All the major elven civilisations rose to power in this time, including Selu'havessthyr, Daoine'yndaar, Arael'vandora, Delimbiyran, Nelath'piir and Ileleste'var. Wild elves, while not given to the great settlements of their elven cousins, were also known to inhabit vast tracks of the Vandor'ivae. These settlements all co-existed peacefully for thousands of years before greed, envy, and pride brought them low; warning signs were present for many millennia before the first of the Crown Wars. It is said that Lolth's attention was first drawn to elvenkind during this era, luring the dark elven clans onto the first steps of a darker path…

Circa -17,000SG: the War of the Three Leaves A council of elders from the moon elf kingdoms of Arael'vandora, Delimbiyran and Nelath'piir approaches a strong alliance. Fearing their strength, and heeding the whispers of malign powers, a plot of subterfuge and assassination is enacted by the Ileleste'var dark elves, resulting in the murder of key moon elf representatives and placing the blame squarely upon the other moon elf kingdoms. This pits the northern moon elf lineages at war, preventing them from uniting under a single banner and laying the groundwork for millennia of distrust to follow the end of the war. That distrust paves the way for their near extinction many millennia later, at the hands of the descendants of these Ileleste'var masterminds.
