They will return to their home plane when either exhausted or the spell duration is completed. Approaches to the use of this spell vary, as some users put out a call for aid while others coerce these creatures into servitude.\n\nThe spell will default to animals, but you can specify between these types: animals, elementals, insects, or modrons. Sorcerers of the abyssal bloodline can also specify demons, and will summon them by default.
