This command manages various trap aspects. Your dungeoneering skill is essential for various actions related to them.
trap detect on|off
Will toggle your ability to auto detect traps. Trapped exits will show in
bold red if they aren't set by you and in bold green if they are set by you or
your party. Non standard traps won't be shown this way.
trap find on OBJECT
You will attempt to find a trap placed on the OBJECT.
trap disarm|remove on OBJECT
Will attempt to disarm the first trap on the object that you specify should
you be able to find one. Failure will result in the trap being triggered.
trap reveal on OBJECT to WHO|party
This will attempt to reveal any traps that you've set on the object you
specify, to either WHO you specify or the members of your PARTY should you be in
one and any of them present. It is presumed that they have at least a basic
understanding of dungeoneering in order to understand your instructions on
avoiding your traps, otherwise it will do little good.
trap recover on OBJECT
Will attempt to recover a trap kit from the first trap on the object you
specify. This is more difficult than simply disarming a trap but will result in
a useable trap kit should you succeed. Failure will result in the trap being
triggered.
trap set KIT on OBJECT [with ACTION|triggers]
This will attempt to set the KIT (you must have it in your inventory) on the
OBJECT that you specify, to be triggered when someone later performs the ACTION.
trap set KIT on OBJECT | triggers
This will reveal to you valid syntax options for setting your trap on the OBJECT you specify.
