This stretch of forest is the section claimed by the City of [[shadow|Shadow]] as territory, bordering [[tharis_forest|Tharis Forest]] to the suoth which is claimed by [[tharis|Tharis]]. The two forests together make up most of what is left of the [[vandorivae|Vandor'ivae]] upon the mainland, though most of its original fey inhabitants have fled deeper into Tharis Forest in an attempt to avoid the encroachment of the desert and nearby humanity, leaving only a few beasts and monsters, and a small group of voadkyns within this northern forest stretch.
