The conflict ravages much of the mainland, leading to the complete destruction of the northern Darkwood forest, transforming it into desert. The region east of Darkwood is torn asunder from the mainland and drifts out to sea, becoming Laerad, which also bears the scars of the battle and wild magic in the Gods Plains.
